24-7 Prayer Spaces
In response to statistics showing that daily prayer is a dying discipline among younger people, the Guildford Boiler Room, part of the 24-7 Prayer movement, is partnering with Survivor Records to produce ‘Prayer Spaces’, a new free podcast with an inspiring, relevant 10 minute devotional designed to help busy people make space for God each day.
Prayer Spaces launches this Holy Week (19th March) and will be a creative blend of scripture readings, reflective questioning, prayers and music from artists like Matt Redman, Tim Hughes, Onehundredhours, Vicky Beeching, Johnny Parks, Psalm Drummers, DJ Kenny Mitchell and The Archbishop of York, John Sentamu leading prayers. It will be available to download from i-tunes and www.24-7prayer.com/spaces. .
Pete Greig, International Director of 24-7 Prayer, said...
“We're developing the Prayer Spaces Podcast to help normal people make a little space for God each day. In just 10 minutes you can get the best contemporary music to help you worship, plus some ancient wisdom from the Bible. We all know we should pray more, but 24-7 Prayer Spaces can help you to do that in a way that's easy, enjoyable and relevant to real life.”
Les Moir, Survivor Label Manager, added:
“Prayer Spaces is a contemporary daily devotional that will help you on the journey from Easter to Pentecost. We, at Survivor, are delighted to pull our resources together with 24-7 to create these podcasts.
