The track has been adopted as the official song for Sports Relief, a major charitable endeavour which harnesses the power and passion of sport to change lives for the better and this year everyone in the UK is being asked to rise to the challenge, have fun and raise cash.

'Footprints in the Sand' is an inspirational song, and has been inspired by the famous poem ‘Footprints’.  It is a poem that many people in Britain's Christian community will be familiar with. In fact the poem ‘Footprints in the Sand’ has been in circulation worldwide since the 1940’s bringing hope and comfort to thousands of people.
