Genesis 9:6 …God made human beings in His own image. (NLT)
God is beautiful and if I am made in His image then that makes me beautiful. In a world in which there is so much pressure for both men and women to conform to an image of what is considered beautiful by the worlds standards it can be difficult.

For those of you that feel this pressure, try to be like the Psalmist that states in Psalm 139:14 ‘I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvellous are Your works.’ (NKJ)

Beautiful

When I look at myself I need to see the person that You see,

For when You look at me You see beauty.

When I look at myself I need to see the person that You see,

For when I see myself I need to not see myself as ugly,

For I am made beautifully.

It is documented scripturally that You have made me wonderfully,

When You created me You didn’t only create me creatively

You made me awesomely

Because You made me in Your imagery,

Therefore when I look at myself I should look at myself thankfully

And then look to the One that is praiseworthy.

He created me amazingly

With fine detail and intricacy

Because when He imagined me it was partly for me to be

Created in His imagery;

Therefore I am created beautifully.

I am beautiful
