Hundreds of thousands of believers gathered and prayed in venues around the world, using satellite links and stadiums in different cities across the time zones - from the UK, New Zealand to the USA.

On the back of the event the organisers of have thrown out a challenge for Christians everywhere to read the Bible over the next 90 days taking part in a ‘Bible’ marathon. The aim is for hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world to participate in reading together from 1st October until 31st December 2008

It takes approximately 1 hour a day to read the Bible from cover to cover.

To assist with the process the organisers have a website where participants can register and access resources such as a reading plan.
