Midnight Oil Summit   Midnight Oil Is Back

Since last years inception of Midnight Oil Summit the event has been dubbed as a national kingdom youth revival. ‘Kingdom’ in that it was able to bring together youths from many denominations and churches that once would not have fellowshipped, and ‘Revival’ in that it undoubtedly ushered and stirred up all that attended into their perpetual season of deliverance, development and dominion.

Spearheaded by Birmingham born visionary Seth Pinnock (18), the vision for the ‘Midnight Oil Summit’ was birthed out of Seth’s own personal pain and the experiences of those around him, despite various hurdles; he was not deterrent and defiant to not let the vision die. ‘Just like Paul and Silas I had to wake up a worship through my own wounds, not only to fulfil the assignment on my life, but to equip others with tools and place them in an conducive atmosphere where they can too’.

News of the event soon spread across the nation and arrested the attention and support of numerous churches and organisations such as the Council of Black Led Churches

The events outcome was phenomenal with over 1000 young people in attendance over the 2 days. The young people were empowered to overcome the obstacles, trails and barriers that have prevented generations past excelling to higher levels. Many lives where transformed, renewed and saved.

“It cost thousands of pounds to stage the event, and I didn’t even have a bank account to my name! (Seth smiles) just a gift, a vision and a testimony, the event was funded solely by activated faith. People from across the country would contact me saying they heard about the vision and would like to sow into it.’

“Midnight Oil Summit” caused dozens of young people from cities such as Bristol, Birmingham, London, Manchester and Coventry, to team up and establish a charity. The charity was endorsed, constituted as a voluntary youth organisation. During the Christmas season before the event dozens of young people stood at the end of tills in the local ASDA supermarket for over 10 hours packing customers groceries for donations towards the event!

It is with this confidence that the Midnight Oil Summit shall take place again in Birmingham. This time momentum has grown and the summit guarantees to be a powerful, life changing experience.

The Friday will be a night of uncompromised, passionate prayer, praise and worship from 6pm-midnight (paralleling the scripture regarding Paul and Silas)

"And at MIDNIGHT Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone's bands were loosed." Act 16:25-26
