No Boundaries

When I was growing up I was told I could go out but no further than the main road. That was my boundary and I wasn’t allowed to cross it! I didn’t like that! I was always drawn to the power of crossing to the other side. Kind of like a ‘My Precious’ Lord of the rings moment!

Then one of my friends ‘allowed out’ late at night was knocked down seriously by a car on that main road. Man, it felt like a close call.

Some boundaries are for your safety. Have sex with a lot of people the chances are…STI’s, pregnancy, abortion, HIV?

When we say NO BOUNDARIES we are not talking do what you like – we are talking people.

We are talking Gender, class, education, status, culture, race, POSTCODE?!

Postcode defines where you live. Where you live defines who you represent.

What about Church? Do we have boundaries because of which church we attend or belong to? Now we are hearing each other!

I heard a story about a man who was LOST on a desert island a bit like the TV series or film Castaway. When he was rescued they found he had built a shelter, a store house, a raft, and two churches! When asked why he built two churches he replied: “Well I don’t go to that one!”

What does God say about it?

Quoting my friend Sammy G. “Gimme That, Gimme That, Gimme That. Straight from the Good book, book!”

“In the last days I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh.” Acts 2:17

In the Message it says on “All kinds of people!”

Colour? You bet! Male & Female? Trust me. Postcode? All of them!
Are you ready to take your end time place of destiny? The battle lines between Kingdoms are being drawn and your choice is as important as ever. This is more than just a title of ‘Christian’ after all, Christ means Anointed One have you gone beyond merely believing and attending!

OUT OF BOUNDS

There are so many boundaries that the devil has tried to put between people to divide. After all, “a house divided against itself cannot stand!” And Di-Vision is having more than one way of looking at things!

Sometimes all we need is to look at things from God’s view – He reminds us that we don’t even think like Him!

“My ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
Isaiah 55:9b

God even encourages us to have the Spirit of unity amongst us. This world needs to see the Kingdom in it’s reality, it’s majesty, it’s entirety and our togetherness is the key to the Kingdom coming on earth as it is in heaven. Through all our different expressions and embracing our variety and diversity. If the world cannot hear the church then maybe we should be speaking a bit louder!

OH THE PAIN!

In a world that’s hurting. Even within our own lives we have experienced so much pain, some more than others. It’s time to push on through.

“Jabez was more honourable than his brothers. His mother had named him Jabez, saying, “I gave birth to him in pain.” Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me and keep me from harm so that I would be free from pain! And God granted his request” 1 Chronicles 4:9-10

Pray this with me…
Oh God…
Let you hand be with me. I don’t want to live a life of boundaries with people. Bless me. Enlarge my capacity. My heart. My voice. Enlarge my territory.
So I can overcome my pain and that in others.
Deliver us from the evil one.
Let your hand be on me.
