Mary Mary The Sound
Integrity/Provident recording artists and sisters Erica and Tina Campbell aka Mary Mary have released their fifth album on October 21st 2008.
Called 'The Sound' this 12 track project is bound to satisfy the hunger of Mary Mary fans who have faithfully followed the ladies since their debut album in 2000, 'Thankful' featuring smash hit tracks 'Shackles (Praise You)' and 'I Sings' (shout out to BBJ).
From the outset 'The Sound' raises the bar as the ladies explore new musical sounds, clearly drawing influences from Motown, Jazz, Soul and Indie genres and some which to be fair are beyond the normal musical categorization.

It's little wonder that Mary Mary have won so many awards including Stellar, Dove and Grammy. This album certainly is a demonstration of their continued ability to grow and tackle new ground whilst delivering strong, clear Christian messages which minister to the listener.
Collaborations on the album reads like a whose who of Gospel music including Deborah Joy, Imani Winans, Kierra “Kiki” Sheard and a grand finalle on the final track with Daryl Coley, Andre Crouche, Dorinda Clarke Cole, Walter Hawkins, Tramaine Hawkins and Karen Clark Sheard.
