Following on from two successful tours UK based Christian magazine the Gospel Link has confirmed a third event is planned in early 2009.Previously feature artists have been CMR artist Da T.R.U.T.H and 116 artist Lecrae. This time round the headline artist is J.R. with supporting UK artists including 4 Kornerz, The Royal Priesthood, Chan and Faith Child. 

A gifted and versatile singer/songwriter, J.R.'s work has attained rave reviews and critical acclaim, along with Grammy, Dove and Stellar award recognition. He is massive in the U.S. and there is a strong underground buzz about him this side of the Atlantic. As an artist, J.R.'s unique and unmistakable musical style transcends genre - fusing eclectic urban Gospel (contemporary R&B, Soul, Rock and Hip Hop styles) to create a unique sound. His vocals have been compared with that of John Legend, his records described as innovative, live performances resemble Outkast, while adventurous production has been equated to the likes of Timbaland and Pharrell. Undoubtedly, J.R. is distinctly in a league all of his own.

His is the familiar voice behind many of Cross Movement Record's memorable hooks, with an impressive list of collaborations including Da' T.R.U.T.H., The Ambassador, Lecrae, Trip Lee and Flame, just to name a few. Also being a heavily sought-after producer, J.R.'s company contributes to the diversity of sound heard on many U.S. urban Gospel projects. The main events will take place in London on January 2nd and in Birmingham on January 3rd 2009.
